Careful giving them good living conditions like this, they might not re offend and save the Vestfold Og Telemark In Norway Flag T-Shirt But I will love this country thousands of dollars. Who would want that? Fuck I hate the way we treat prisoners in Canada We should make prisons like this except the people are free to come and go as they lile, anf it’s not just for criminals anyone can live there if they need food or shelter. And instead of calling it prisons we can call it free public housing It’s like they’re actually trying to rehabilitate these people instead of put them through a revolving door of recidivism in hopes they can get as much free slave labor out of them as possible… That’s weird. I don’t know but from what i see it seems a bit like Finland’s ideology. The idea isn’t to punish the criminal but to make it a good tax paying citysen.

Better than what half of non-incarcerated America has. But something, something American exceptionalism amirite. I think America as a whole seems to not realize that the world judges a society by how it treats its most vulnerable NOT the ridiculous billionaires. The people in prison are often those who take advantage of the most vulnerable in society, not vulnerable themselves. Some prisoners are innocent. Unless the justice system is perfect, making things hard for serious criminals affects those don’t fit this description. Debatable. It could be either way. There 100% are people in prison that had no other choice, through no fault of their own, and/or on false charges. Violent inmates, especially repeat offenders, do not imo deserve this level of luxury. Non violent Inmates absolutely deserve this
