But still, it confirmed for me that a.) police officers can and will lie, and b.) institutions will not always give you due process, which means c.) even if you have literal evidence of that lie, you won’t always get justice for it; having the Thunderbirds 2023 Champions Western Hockey Jimmy Butler Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this truth on your side doesn’t matter. Wait, was the fine so low they didn’t give you a court date to make your appeal? How the fuck is that even legal? When I was only 10 or 11, I was riding my bike in early spring in Ontario on the sidewalk because there was ice and snow all along the sides of this road, and it was a major road, multiple lanes in each direction. A car full of teens waiting to pull onto the road waved for me to go ahead and then hit me with their car when I did.

I dragged my bike for probably about 45 min home. Along the Thunderbirds 2023 Champions Western Hockey Jimmy Butler Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this way a guy in a suit refused to let me use a pen to write down their plate number, saying I’d steal the pen. The cops found the teens and decided to tell me, a young, injured child, they’d arrest me for riding my bike on the sidewalk if I didn’t drop it. I ended up having to go to the hospital because the end of the handlebar jammed into my neck and bruised it right up and I cracked my head off the sidewalk, and my bike was ruined. I had a similar run in when I was a kid. If my mom had a bad day at work, she would come home and take it out on me. One day she got crafty and started hitting me with an extension cable. I was covered in blood and I wasn’t able to walk when she was done. A couple days after it happened, I went to the police and tried to report her. I was 11 or 12 at the time. The cop told me that I was a young boy and probably needed the discipline. I pulled down my pants and showed him what she did. He threatened to charge me with indecent exposure. He then took me home and told my mom what I did. I tried to kill myself that summer. Finally after that, a judge ordered custody to my dad where I was able to get on a healthy path. Of course that was almost 30 years ago now but I still resent cops.
