We have around 20 people every night for overnight, and we usually get our zones done. You guys must have a much smaller team. I started as a cashier and working the The 2023 MLB States Play Arrives In Tempe AZ At Tempe Diablo Stadium Shirt in other words I will buy this whole front but when my coach noticed how well I zone and how fast I picked up on the locations of 82, they made me a designated freight/zone person for up front. I come in sooner than the cashiers to get ahead. They pull me occasionally but I’m mostly left alone. Has its issues but I like it more than being a cashier. Our overnight has 4 people that only zone. Unless there too many call outs and we are short handed. We have to throw the freight, zone, work top stock, work the bins & do returns. Gotta be honest, not really sure what cap 1 & cap 2 do. The problem with zoning is it’s just to appease management and I guess their bosses and maybe their bosses… who knows.

Now, if zoning wasn’t just pulling shit forward and instead putting shit where it’s meant to be and fixing spacing, on hands and shelf caps then I’d actually enjoy zoning a bit more. As it is now, I struggle to stay awake during it.
