Are you against or for a certain issue? These are often defining issues (like immigration, gun reform, taxes etc) it’s hard to be centrist on a lot of issues, so to me it doesn’t make sense to be centrist. Unless the Tales from the stinky dragon puppet shirt In addition,I will do this issue is you’re afraid to publicly support either side due to the reaction people might have to said choice. Centrism is very different depending on what country you’re in. For example in my country has far right in government and the opposition is mainstream right wing. There’s little difference between them despite the opposition supposedly being socialist.. It depends what is meant by centrism. In many countries there are left and right parties, and a (usually smaller) party which is sort of in the middle. They may dispute that they support all these, but they will at any rate rarely seriously challenge any of them. Biden has been a partial exception. In the rest of the democratic world their politics would be regarded as right-wing- eg in Britain they would be about equivalent to the present Conservative government, much further right on health, but to the left on immigration. The big exception is that they follow the Democratic party’s cultural politics.
