Gordon is awesome and loved that him and Batman solved the Take A Hike Snoopy Shirt What’s more,I will buy this case together I liked the riddles and the riddler unmasked. Saw how insane he was. Thought the final act was great. everything was so intense. Batman shifted from a vengeance to hero. City is flooded, nice to see to villain win in some aspect and him not just lose to Batman with no consequences . I’ll probably take some flak for this, but I wasnt the biggest fan of the movie. It felt like a “style over substance” kind of movie, which is fine in itself, but I don’t think it had enough style to keep me hooked for 3 hours, and definitely not enough substance. Like everyone else here, I agree it had some very cool scenes. The car chase, the fight lit by gunshots, the opening scene of criminals afraid of the dark. All cool and well done. The costumes looked pretty great too. But it just felt like it dragged so long in so many scenes. Which can be effective if the movie gives you stuff to think about during those scenes. Like if there were more slow scenes where we get to figure out the crime scenes with Batman. You know, follow his thought processes. The movie tries to do this for a few scenes but it kinda felt like those riddle and crime scene scenes were rushed through and then the movie just gives you 5 minute long scenes of Robert Pattinson scowling to make up for it. Idk maybe I just missed some of the intricacies. I just ended up feeling kinda bored through a lot of the scenes, instead of actively engaged in what was on screen. Plus I wish we got a bit more riddler. Like maybe more of his streaming footage, more of his kidnapping and death trapping. He ended up feeling kinda secondary to the penguin and Carmine Falcone. Maybe that was the intent, to make you kinda underestimate him until the end, but it just sorta left me wishing he was truly the focus of the film, cause his stuff was some of the most interesting.

I think maybe that was the Take A Hike Snoopy Shirt What’s more,I will buy this intent with making the movie so long. To have you fully immersed in this world of Gotham’s underbelly before the riddler comes to blow it all up. But I don’t think the time was utilized efficiently. I just feel like all those slow motion shots of characters looking at things and scowling could have been replaced with shots of the important characters of the movie doing things to expand on their character and motivation. By the end of the movie I didn’t feel like I knew any of the characters well besides Batman who basically wants to punch crime but is worried his example of vigilantism is creating more problems than it solves. That’s actually an interesting theme I think they could have spent more time with.
