And man, the Trips By Rip He’ll Take You To The Train Station Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this visuals and cinematography were absolutely sublime. So many gorgeous shots in the movie, and there was just an immersive, tangible atmosphere of dread and gloom. Matt reeves really knocked it out of the park directing-wise. My only real gripe is the Joker teaser at the end. I’m just kind of tired of the character at this point and don’t want to see him pop up yet again, when there are so many other great, underrepresented Batman villains. First Scream now The Batman, 2022 movies really leaning into toxic online message board fandoms I can’t stop thinking about this movie. I saw it in a rinky dink local theatre but I think I need to go to a souped up stadium theatre to see that chase scene. How in God’s name, with subject matter dating back nearly a century, have auteurs like Burton and Nolan been unable to ABSOLUTELY NAIL IT like Reeves has?

Batman 89, BB and TDK are far superior movies than this one. TDKR is a bad film in general though. See the Trips By Rip He’ll Take You To The Train Station Shirt but I will buy this shirt and I will love this movies when the hype dies down, and you’ll notice that this movie is riddled with stupid writing and bad screenplay. The only thing, arguably, this movie does better is the potrayal of “Batman”. But as a complete movie, it’s no where close to those movies. The guy who played the Riddler is a really, really good actor. In my opinion it was almost a waste of his talent and shitty that for 90% of the movie we only saw him on shaky cellphone videos, wearing a gimp mask. I felt the Riddler’s storyline was interesting, but it’s almost as if Studio pressure or writers did a sudden about-face and he was blowing up the city and causing floods. Wanton destruction is a Joker thing and you saw that during the last part of The Dark Knight when he had everyone corralled on Ferries. This just seemed like writers shoehorning in some high stakes situation to try and match that film’s intensity, however to me it just didn’t fit the first 2/3rds of the Riddler’s convictions or plot for this movie.
