For me, it was that I just had too much swirling through my brain to switch off. Well it’s true. For certain trauma cases, you’re not advised to meditate. I for instance; my therapist didn’t advise me to meditate or try to clear my mind. Many of the cornerstones of therapy practices in the last century have focused on such techniques especially for those in rehab or those that are hospitalized.
