Like any other thing, it might just not be suited to us. But it also might not be the right time, there may be too much else going on, and we can’t handle meditation right off the bat. I say this from personal experience, which again will vary depending on the person. I had a psychologist try mindfulness exercises and such with me maybe 5 years ago? But I found that I just couldn’t keep myself from getting frustrated, no matter how many times I tried, or how we varied the practice.
