Drinking’s expensive, bad for you, terrible things can happen if you get drunk, and it tastes bad until you develop a taste for it. Also, it doesn’t go well with many drugs, both prescription and OTC, like Tylenol. I’ll be sober 7 months tomorrow. Wish I’d never been fed all that alcohol as a child by my drunk mother. Also, I’m into Tiki culture and Tiki Bars and many Tiki drinks can be made without alcohol and are delicious and fun. Mocktails are great too. I don’t understand how alcohol is part of people’s lives. I got drunk when I was 16 and threw up and was done after that. I only “drink” maybe once or twice a year and that means having a drink or 2. I’m confused on how people get addicted to it. My mom died due to multiple organ failure from alcoholism. She was 44. I watched her die a slow death my entire childhood, it’s an awful way to go out. Once alcoholism gets you to the Some legends never die firefighter shirt and by the same token and point of liver failure it’s hard to come back and it’s a lot easier to get there than most people realize.

Some legends never die firefighter shirt, hoodie, tank top, sweater and long sleeve t-shirt

In my early to mid twenties it was like blasphemy among my friend group to not drink. I ended up quitting a couple years ago and I wish I had done it sooner. I’m still dealing with a nasty stomach ulcer from drinking too much on an empty stomach for a decade. I threw away years of my life self-medicating and I wish I could go back and do things differently. It’s not worth the Some legends never die firefighter shirt and by the same token and risk if you know you have an addictive personality. I know people my age (30) who also have ulcers, fatty liver disease, reduced kidney and bladder function… people think being young prevents you from the negative side effects of alcoholism but it doesn’t.. I enjoy drinking and I still think you’ve got the right idea. If you don’t really think it’s something you’d enjoy, there’s no reason to do it. Screw anyone who tries to pressure you into it. Same thing goes for weed (which I’ve tried but didn’t like) or anything else. Not drinking is the absolute best move. You never regret not drinking, but you can often times regret drinking.
