Used to have that at my store, and i was even one of them. However we got put on so many extra tasks and cap 2 work while being one of the lowest paid positions in the store, that we all moved to cap 2.

Exactly it’s a cost thing. When I worked at target we had a team that set mods, a team that did price changes, and a team that did their version of Vizpick. In the course of my time those four jobs became one persons job. I’m sure Walmart has seen a similar standpoint of add more tasks to one position to save money I’d be worth it just to pull expired food off the shelves cause I swear every time I zone the 97 wall I find food that’s over a week to a month+ expired. Zoning is one of the most pointless things we do imo. Hell, zoning the entire store is seen as one of Cap 2’s main tasks at my store. There’s countless nights where the TLs have to stay until 2 or 3 in the morning to finish zoning, which by that point is even more pointless because ONs is already well into their stocking duties. It’s just being used as a punishment for the TLs at that point.
