You don’t get promoted to supervisor just for being great at your job, the Pug Sticker I Love Mom Shirt also I will do this position has to open first, and call centers are notorious for hiring management and supervisors from outside the company. So not only are you and 299 others competing for ONE open position when it happens, but you’re also competing with supervisors from other companies who already have experience so they get hired instead of your base level call center agent If you work an honest job, you should be able to afford to have a family if you want. Any job. Burger King. The docks, shoveling fish guts. Delivering babys. Yes, even bank of america. There’s too much wealth, and technology for the working class to be struggling. No health options? Education? Ability to afford housing? Healthy food options within a budget? If you WANT to be a scholar, sure go ahead. If you WANT to be an engineer, go for it. It shouldn’t be a necessity to survive. Just being in the system, as a collective, should afford you the benefits of the labor you put forth.

Im also working for a bank call center and worried i wont ever be able to get out, but with this whole recession talk im scared to rock the Pug Sticker I Love Mom Shirt also I will do this boat, bank work kept me employed during the pandemic so pros and cons i guess I’m in the top 5% of performers at every call center I’ve ever been at and I’m completely dead ended after 14 years in the industry In 2006 I bought my first house, granted I got a really good deal on it, but it was still over market value. I made 40,000 a year. I had to sell that house at a loss just to be rid of it. Found out it sold last year for almost 25,000 more than what I paid for it. Fucking rigged system. In 2016/17, I had the option of buying a house in my city for $360k. I chose not to as I was not entirely sold on staying put. 4 years later, in 2020, I bought a house for $580k. I was pissed as I effectively lost $200k
