This is a worthless piece of writing. I doubt anyone involved in writing it has enjoyed even the Pro Life Movement Right to Life Pro Life Advocate Victory T-Shirt Also,I will get this most basic legal education. This is an embarrassment of titanic proportions. A big part of the Court’s motivation for striking down Roe is the extent to which it has poisoned American politics. It’s only poisoned American politics because right wing political operatives turned it into a wedge issue for right wing conservatives. Or it’s poisoned American politics because half the country earnestly believes that a fetus is a person. You are free to disagree with them, but the minimal requirement of argument in good faith is that you take other people’s reasons seriously. The modern day anti choice movement is a fabricated wedge issue. Actually understanding who and what is behind the issue is the only way to address it. There is no “good faith” argument behind the anti-choice crowd because none of them ever want to address the fact that they are taking away the right of women to have bodily autonomy. Really? None of the tens of millions of pro-life voters really passionately believe in the thing they so fervently support? They’re all just brainwashed hicks? Come on. Just try to take the other side seriously. I also think pro-lifers are perfectly willing to admit that they are foreclosing what women may autonomously do with (or with what’s in) their bodies. They just come out differently than you on how to weigh a woman’s interest in what happens to her body against the fetus’s interest in not being destroyed. You’re never going to win by refusing to engage the other side on its best points. You’re just screaming into the void, scoring points in a political game.

Really? None of the Pro Life Movement Right to Life Pro Life Advocate Victory T-Shirt Also,I will get this tens of millions of pro-life voters really passionately believe in the thing they so fervently support? They’re all just brainwashed hicks? You can’t logic/reason someone out of a position that they didn’t logic/reason themselves into and that’s exactly what the “fetus is a person” crowd has done. They’ve made an arbitrary decision about when something is a person and no amount of arguing will change that opinion. The debate is about if a women should have the right to dictate what she does with her own body. A fetus isn’t a person and even if it was a person, it wouldn’t have the right to force a women to give over her body/organs/tissue without her consent. Hahaha ok. There is a lively literature in bioethics debating the permissibility of abortion, but I guess all those scholars taking the question seriously are wasting their time. Turns out, nobody can possibly have a reasonable opposition to abortion.
