Builds/itemization. Itemization is painful. Once you get a build and it’s based on an item that gives +X rank in a skill, then any item that doesn’t give that essentially becomes trash. Now, the Plattsburgh Shuffling Sounds Unveiling Grooves Shirt But I will love this absolute worst part which I think has been stated repeatedly in other comments: Level scaling. I said it in the beta and I’ll say it now: It feels absolutely terrible. As another commenter said, it feels like you’re treading water the entire game, even if you go back to starter areas. I like that the strongholds are always 2 levels above you since that poses more of a challenge, but if the areas were absolutely leveled (i.e. don’t scale) then the +2 levels wouldn’t matter–every area would be a risk if it was above your level. It really sucks when you’re a level 40+ there struggling with a large pack of mobs and mini-boss/elite pack, then a level 20 comes up and just one-shots everything while sprinting through.

There’s really no reason for scaling unless it’s just being lazy by not having to balance mob/area levels. One of the Plattsburgh Shuffling Sounds Unveiling Grooves Shirt But I will love this best parts about games is going into an area while under-leveled for the challenge, but that’s not even possible, just as it’s not possible to play carefully by over-leveling then going to an area with mobs below your level. It also feels weird doing the same legion events with levels 20-25 when I’m level 45+… especially when they’re annihilating stuff while I feel like I’m kinda just supporting. “I’m level 20, but the mobs are all level 25-30… maybe I can sneak through.” Nope, can’t do that. Once you start getting to beefier (tankier) mobs, any build that focuses on stuns and such becomes worthless since unstoppable scales up so quickly. Bosses are already immune to stuns (minus the exhaustion bar or whatever), so this is just dumb and greatly reduces the number of viable builds.
