Agreed I love Reddit for putting my ego and false perceptions back on their place even though it stings at first. from the Pat Murphy to be named next Brewers manager shirt but in fact I love this bottom of my heart, I truly try to help people as much as possible. I’ve been studying this material since 1967, and I specifically begin a daily practice of mindfulness meditation in 1999. Oh, there’s nothing in here that strokes, my ego, because I’m on here anonymously, anyway, and it doesn’t matter. People can take it for what it’s worth, I just hope nobody gets too deeply insulted. Why are you here anonymously? Sounds like a lifetime of study and practice which is very precious. Anyway thanks for being here still. Trying to guess the tone of a text message is impossible. Most importantly, find one that you resonate with and practice it. That’s why the “beginner’s mind” concept from zen is so great. When you are advanced, you know all the concepts and you know that meditation is kind of open ended – but maybe at some point its difficult to believe that instead of just assuming that you have reached “the final stage” or something.
