I got what I paid for, a full meal You don’t know the frustration of a parent who makes a dish that for months until 5 minutes before suppertime was the kids favorite. Now the kid informed them that he hates it, always hates it and is now full. The child then is excused and wants ice cream because they are hungry.

I’ve never forced my kids to eat like my parents have, but I also haven’t made them mac and cheese because they suddenly don’t like meatballs and spaghetti.
