I got called that once too in the New York Jets If My Loyalty Offends Your Your Lack Of Taste Offends Me Shirt in contrast I will get this mid 2000’s when I repaired PCs at a major office supply retail chain. I diagnosed a PC issue one way and gave the African-American lady an estimate of X dollars to fix it. She didn’t like that amount and took it to a podunk repair shop in our small town that has a horrible reputation for not knowing what they’re doing (because people would often bring their PCs to us after that guy couldn’t fix it). That shop diagnosed it a different way and quoted her about half what we did. She came back in later to demand the $20 back that we charged to diagnose PCs, and to say that I was trying to charge her more because I’m a racist. Even though the fee I quoted her was displayed on the board behind our tech counter.

Management and all the New York Jets If My Loyalty Offends Your Your Lack Of Taste Offends Me Shirt in contrast I will get this other employees there knew me and knew it was just another crazy customer. They gave her her $20 back just to get her to shut up and we all moved on with our lives. Ask her if racists are usually helpful? Smile and just say please don’t hate me because I genuinely care. See what someone says to that. This is a situation you just can’t win. I worked at a liquor store for about ten years. I was accused of being racist because I asked people if I could help them, because I didn’t ask them soon enough, as a distraction for theft and many times because I denied service for intoxication or lack of valid ID. Which was kind of my job. It upset me at first, but after a while, it lost all meaning. They see themselves as a victim. But they’re irrational and go on the offensive in an act of self fulfilling prophecy.
