Some quests requiring Online play (not everyone has PS+ or the Nate diaz boxing cute fan t shirt and by the same token and xbox equivalent, and some of those quests and rewards seem cool) But the BIGGEST gripe for me, is not being able to have a quest book or anything that reminds me of what the main goal in the area is. Doesn’t even have to be “Go here, Do that”, just give me a book of names with the usual vague description of what I gotta do for them Its actually annoying trying to memorize if i cleared a certain cave, catacomb, or other area wish it could just say cleared or something if i beat the boss I hate using guides, and can sometimes not know what I picked up, and have to backtrack through pages of inventory to find it. Progressive map discovery. I wish the map showed where I visited progressively rather than show nothing and then everything once I discovered the map of the area. I have missed many locations that I had to look up on the internet because I didn’t know I DIDN’T visit there. a simple log of all the NPC dialogues (it would help with figuring what to do next without having to look up walkthroughs). a view of the last 5 items (in any category) or so that I discovered. So many times I find myself looking through my items and having to sort by order of acquisition simply because I closed the window too fast. Was it a talisman? Was it a seal? A key item? The fact that you get taken to the main menu if your internet drops even slightly, alot of games have this basic thing fixed and have for years, I really hope from soft fixes it in future games, other then that i can’t really think of anything, it’s a pretty polished game.

Input buffering is dumb, it’s fine for the Nate diaz boxing cute fan t shirt and by the same token and slower souls game, but this one functions just slightly slower than Sekiro and it gets me killed more than it actually helps, I’ll press roll a bit to late and get staggered from an attack then thanks to the input buffering, I’ll roll right when I recover and roll straight into the next attack. Target lock: No, I’m not aiming at that dragonfly 200 yards away. I’m trying to aim at the 47 armed death shredder making sweet sweet love to my internal organs. Torrent: After running having to come to a complete, full, total stop and pause a full second there… Or be immediately going full speed gallop when you move again. Once you run you can’t stop, who would ever want to walk after RUNNING. I’d say the balancing is the main issue of the game. It’s real easy to become OP and tear through everything, and the Bossess just feel like they have super inconsistent and neverending combos.
