I understand the explanation behind it, but it’s just annoying that the game teased me with it then quickly took that all away. Edit: after reading some replies I think I’m going to steal another one. NPCs don’t feel like they were built for an open world. It would be nice to see a familiar face just sort of roaming around on horseback or something, but they’re all very static. Worse is that for quests, there’s no real direction to your tasks. That’s a major problem that could be practically solved by just making the NPC give a somewhat detailed description of the surrounding area. When you only have 1 weapon selected for your right hand and you can deselect it in combat . I don’t know how many times I delivered a power kick or punch instead of a slash .
