Really hope the Nasa Snoopy Shirt moreover I love this sequel is a tighter film. It’s got strong bones. Just saw it, and man this movie was… not good. There were some serious pacing issues, did we really need to spend an entire minute seeing Batman grab a letter out of a bat cage? I felt this movie’s runtime, and by the end I was frequently checking my phone to see when this movie would end. There’s a large chunk of this film that could be cut out and nothing would be lost imo. The characters themselves were also not that interesting, I was not a fan of emo Bruce Wayne, and Catwoman didn’t have enough of a personality for me to care about her missing girlfriend, or her daddy issues. This film was so heavy with it’s exposition in the mystery story, that it forgot to breath and have character moments. I seriously wonder what the ratio of Batman to Bruce Wayne screentime in this movie is. I think it would easily be the highest of any batman film, cause this movie barely had Bruce himself in it.

Riddler was.. good, but not great , I will admit I liked the Nasa Snoopy Shirt moreover I love this idea of Riddler being a fan of the Batman, but the interrogation scene really turned me off on him. His screeching and moaning was more cringe-worthy rather than frightening to me. Also the Joker tease at the end… Batman has probably the largest rogue’s gallery of excellent villains to pull from. Mr. Freeze, Scarecrow, Hugo Strange, the Mad-Hatter, Poison Ivy, etc. I know Joker is his most iconic enemy, but this is legit going to be our 4th joker in the last 14 years. I just eye-rolled at that moment, when they could have had someone interesting, like a Mr. Freeze or Hugo Strange tease would have had me more hyped. Overall I wasn’t a fan of this movie, but the sound design, and atmosphere of Gotham were all top notch.
