-In general, too much was left to exposition. We only ever found out about the Love Snoopy America Shirt moreover I love this Wayne family’s secrets because the Riddler talked about them on camera. If you want me to care about what a villain has to say and why he’s doing what he’s doing, him just rambling about it won’t do much. For example, we understood Bane’s past in TDKR because we actually WENT to the Pit and saw flashbacks of what happened to him there. We understood Talia’s motivation because we MET her father two movies ago. -As for Catwoman, I don’t think her existence in the movie impacted the plot much. They had to shoehorn the relation to Falcone to connect her to the Wayne family/Riddler/Falcone nexus that actually drove the storyline. She was just… there, and the romance with Batman was really shoehorned in and forced.

-Finally, and arguably the Love Snoopy America Shirt moreover I love this MOST IMPORTANT, the theme of the movie of Batman needing to go from “vengeance” to “hope” is a fundamental betrayal of his character. The cinematography during the final scene on the top of Madison Square Garden basically was trying to make Batman look like Superman. That is simply not Batman. That’s not his character. He’s not a shining light in the darkness. He IS the darkness that also scares the crap out of others who reside there. Remember the quote: “Deep down, Clark’s essentially a good person… and deep down, I’m not” ? Yeah… Ok I could probably keep going given enough time but that’s all I have for now… Let me know your thoughts, guys. I think this movie was pretty good, maybe a 7/10? But you just articulated the flaws perfectly. To add to complaints, it might be minor in comparison but the riddles were super underwhelming. They were easy yet didn’t give the audience 5 seconds to figure it out on their own. The only “oh shit” moment was the carpet tool, but that came out of nowhere because the rest of the riddles were so simple.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
