-Riddler was the LEt It Snow Snoopy And Charlie Shirt and I love this one driving the story but we don’t see him until the end? And when he appears he simply is not memorable. Liam Neeson, Heath Ledger and Tom Hardy were all giants onscreen, you couldn’t tear your eyes away from them. I don’t blame Dano for this, but I just don’t think he was given much to work with at all. I think even Cillian Murphy as Scarecrow was a better villain than him. -The Riddler’s motivation in the final act basically mimicked the Joker in TDK: he wanted to throw Gotham into complete chaos and “show the true face of Gotham”. Except the Joker’s motivation here was spelt out well. He had the whole act with the two ferry’s and how he wanted people to turn on each other. He also corrupted Dent who was Gotham’s symbol of hope. What… exactly was the Riddler trying to do here? There was nothing specific.

-Falcone was the LEt It Snow Snoopy And Charlie Shirt and I love this worst of the three for sure. He’s supposed to be this big scary crime boss who runs Gotham… but he comes off as just a creepy old perv, nothing else. Falcone in Batman Begins is waaaay more intimidating. He has Bruce beaten up in front of judges and cops and no one says anything. You see him doing mob stuff. This Falcone is just bleh. -To continue with Falcone, too much of his story is left to exposition and all the important plot revelations involving him that are supposed to be holy shit moments barely register. The whole rat storyline and the fact that he had Gotham’s entire government on his payroll was all just rattled off in one two minute conversation. SHOW me things. This was portrayed to me an OMG moment but fell flat instead. Same with the fact that he killed the Waynes. We never saw Thomas Wayne and we never saw him interact with Carmine Falcone. So this betrayal never really mattered.
