I decided I had reached the limits of my tolerance for the working conditions and behavior of management. Within two weeks I found myself working at Ford in kc mo. All I can say is that you will never know joy until you see a union rep dressing down a gm like they are in bootcamp! I thought that was walmart standard practice? The store manager tried to accuse me of insubordination for refusing to sit while they stop over me. He eventually had the dm fire me. Store manager (former marine who outweighed me by 100 lbs) told the dm that he didn’t feel safe with me around just because I stated that I didn’t respect him as a man (you are required to respect the position, not the person). Store manager was fired 6 months later for related integrity issues.
