I went to a friends house (around age 10)and I ate fresh, seasoned, and properly cooked veggies for the Michigan Wolverines 2023 National Champs go blue shirt Besides,I will do this first time. I loved it! And I thought my mom might be proud of me for eating veggies and liking them. Instead, she got furious that I liked ‘those vegetables’ but not hers. Took me til I was in college to really realize she was: A.) a shit cook B.) abusive C.) the direct cause of my childhood digestive issues And I have coeliac disease I found out later in life the food I refused to eat was always pasta because it made me feel very sick. But I hate the forced eating as a child all my siblings have issues with food, two of my sisters have eating disorders. And our portions were so big we were overweight which still struggling with.

We never did that with our daughter. My husband & I bkth went through it ourselves & promised we would never do that to our child. I think a lot of parents do this because they don’t understand what children’s portions should look like. My parents did this to me and I went from underweight to overweight in the Michigan Wolverines 2023 National Champs go blue shirt Besides,I will do this span of a year. My body has never been the same, and I’ve struggled with weight my whole life because of it. I’m 26 and just learned that when you’re full, you should have a neutral feeling, not stuffed and uncomfortable. I was hollered at, beaten, forced to stay at the table for hours, had food and drink dumped on me, even forced to eat my own vomit once when I got sick. They were so unnecessarily cruel on top of the insane portion sizes. I believe this comes from the depression era mindset where food was relatively scarce and nothing could go to waste.
