Honestly, pretty short sighted of you and you should prolly take some time to reflect on the Look Like A Beauty Embroider Like A Beast T-Shirt besides I will buy this misfortune of others. I really don’t like this. My academic stress came from the fact that I felt like a failure after nearly failing out of college my freshman year. My greatest feeling of accomplishment was when I turned that around to get Dead’s list my final year before I graduated. I was never really targeting it as a goal but my hard work at trying to get better grades and finally figuring out how college worked got me all the requirements. I was super proud of myself when I made dean’s list, but it didn’t bother me when I didn’t. However, I also didn’t have the external pressure I know some students have. I will wager they have realized that with the current state of grade inflation, half or perhaps a super majority of students were “Deans List” and it was too embarrassing to continue, and would highlights that a kid with a 3.5 gpa is substantially below average, weakening their job prospects.

As opposed to what? Employer driven? Who else should be making decisions about what goes on in higher education? Literally nobody cares about these awards, if you have a good gpa(the Look Like A Beauty Embroider Like A Beast T-Shirt besides I will buy this only requirement) it appears on your resume. I had them the entirety of my UG experience and neither the deans lost or any of the other silly achievement awards have been brought up since I left college. Their “award” for getting high GPA is looking good to employers after graduation. They still have the same high GPA so whats the issue here? Ah yes, I forgot a high GPA is magically useless if not paired with a deans list award. I’m sure the students of Penn need all the help they can get in competing for jobs and scholarships.
