I used to work as a Walmart greeter, had to check receipts for items not in a bag. I was always polite, never pushy, but sadly I live in the Karan Aujla Singer shirt Additionally,I will love this South, so being white means I’m automatically a racist asshole around here (It’s crazy cuz that sounds alot like racism but I’ve been informed racism doesn’t count when it’s towards white people) I had numerous PoC get pissy with me for asking to see their receipt, because some other color person just passed me with no items out of a bag. Every single time I got the whole “Oh why you checking me and not them” bullshit I’d always respond the same way. “Sir/Ma’am I’m just following policy, but why don’t you tell me what exactly it is about you that’s sooo special that I actively chose to deal with your attitude and poor manners? What about you do you think made it worth it to me to deal with your crap?”

My management ended up getting called over a lot because something about that question really pissed people off, but every single time the Karan Aujla Singer shirt Additionally,I will love this entire racial component evaporated like it wasn’t there to begin with. Every single time they’d complain to my manager it was because I was “impolite”, not because I was racist as they had implied or even tried to assert before I asked the question. The reality is the most racist people on earth are the people assuming everyone else is racist. If you assume your race is sooooo important to others that it must be the sole motive for my actions, that just looks and sounds like the most unintelligent kind of narcissism. She’s the problem here, don’t allow her back. You don’t handle being called a bad name, you handle the asshole who called you it. That really sad to hear, I think not answering and being the bigger person and knowing your own qualities and not having to prove them right is best!
