I’m just a grumpy old white dude who is sick to death of the Kanye West glow in the dark tour shirt it is in the first place but bullshit in this world. It’s an easy misjudgment to make. I forgive you.” If you work with the public you need to be professional or you will go nuts. This means you cannot take anything personally. You are at work, not your house or private life. You should know who you are, right? So why react? If you react now they control the moment. Don’t allow them to get you into the position where you need to defend yourself. Be professional.

I’m the Kanye West glow in the dark tour shirt it is in the first place but well rounded all-American. Is your job to directly assist costumer? Or are you in a management position. At work, you don’t “help”, you give costumer service— whether you’re a racist or no is important to you— examine your interaction—and move on. As other say, some people see racism in some situations, whether is right or not. Calmly, “There is no reason for name-calling.” Really, she’s just insulting you to bully you into getting her way. She could have said lots of things just as inappropriate.
