I had a real brutal year this past year. I changed meds in the Jorge Mateo Baltimore Card Outfielder and Second Baseman T-Shirt also I will do this hospital and went to trauma therapy there, meditated every day for 6 months, left a horrible relationship, and dove deep on working on myself. Now I’m in a job I love, my kids are thriving, and I’ve made peace with the awful shit that happened. I’ve come a long way but it’s not always easy to see that either. Some days are still hard but I’m a lot more peaceful. I know I’m where I’m supposed to be and that knowledge is priceless. I went through hell for over 30 years and am now living a really peaceful beautiful life. It is possible, you just have to make it your priority and remove anything that destroys your peace including friends or family. I also have to work daily on keeping my life peaceful and my mind free of negative thoughts. Once you find this place of serenity you’ll be thankful you never gave up. I found practicing gratitude and yoga helped me immensely. You are so close to finding what you’ve been searching for all along, but it can’t be found in anything outside of you. In truth, it finds you when you are still.

In my case, I had to let go of desires and expectations. The more you resist this stillness, the Jorge Mateo Baltimore Card Outfielder and Second Baseman T-Shirt also I will do this more you will find yourself desiring things outside of yourself. And contrary to everything we’ve been taught by society, nothing outside of you will ever satisfy you. But to notice this at all means you’re on the right track. To notice this is a win that you should celebrate. Because the next step is to let go of it all. And that can be scary, but it’s not as scary as digging yourself deeper and deeper into something that never fulfills you, and realizing that you’ve spent your life changing something that can’t be caught. I had to learn to do things for the sake of doing them, not the results or “fruits.” That is the true beauty of life – to have that experience. Attachment to results creates suffering. Allowing energy to flow through you does not. The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and the Bhagavad Gita both underscore this point.
