I’m really into the I’m Not Lost I’m Collecting Rocks. Geologist Rock Scientist Vintage T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this aesthetic/style of the Doll’s Kill subbrand Darker Wavs, but I don’t want to purchase from Dolls Kill or any comparable kind of low-quality fast fashion brand. I guess I’m looking for a sort of reverse dupe, or any higher-quality original brands that carry similar or identical designs to Darker Wavs. I’m really into subversive luxury brands like Rick Owens, Ann Demeulemeester, Junya Watanabe, Carol Christian Poelle, etc if that helps. So, I haven’t bought from any of these brands, I just have a habit looking into ones that get recommended here or I keep seeing people in outfits I like wearing. Just gonna include everything that seems aesthetically relevant, though I am starting out low confidence & building: Marcella NYC, Aelfric Eden, Minga, Jaded London, mdnt45, Maniere Du Voir, Marina Eerrie, Miista, Nuit, Turn Black, & Rosen. Also, depending on budget/where you’re located Demobaza might also fit the bill!

If silk can’t get wet, why is it recommended to be worn in the I’m Not Lost I’m Collecting Rocks. Geologist Rock Scientist Vintage T-Shirt Furthermore, I will do this heat? Are there certain weaves that are better for the heat? It can get wet, but it doesn’t hold dye well, so dark or bright colours can bleed or fade when you wash it. Eventually it develops a white bloom from fading, which you can pre-empt by buying washed silk to begin with. I don’t think it’s a great fabric for heat personally and it always puzzles me that it’s still recommended. That’s because it is such a good insulator (which is why thermal vests and ski underwear used to be made of silk jersey). If you want to wear it, I would pick the thinnest fabric possible, and definitely a woven rather than a jersey. From personal experience, silk can be washed in delicates. The rule should just be no heat when wet! I machine wash my silks on cold with soft detergent and they’ve all held up so far
