Is there anyone that’s purchased items from the I Survived Reading Banned Books And All I Got Was Smarter Retro T-Shirt it is in the first place but Real Real in store that can verify their products are authentic? I’ve read online that some products that go through their “rigorous” authentication process turn out to be fakes. Hoping that it’s more valid for items that are sold in store because I’m interested in a designer purse they have available. I would honestly only buy clothes from TRR based on material composition. The problem with buying secondhand is that there are literally SO many fakes out there. Literally fake everything. Fake Zara, even. So I wouldn’t buy bags from TRR especially, and for other items I would base on material. I used a guide from LegitRails ( and checked 3 different listings of the YSL le 5 a 7 bag and all of them turned out to be fake (imprinted stamp vs gold text, silver zipper vs gold zipper).

Long story short: it depends. I’ve worked for a second hand luxury platform, they also claimed to have experts doing verifications for each item but that’s just not logistically possible.
