I’m sorry to hear that. And I have heard first hand the I’m Not Crazy Maybe Am Crazy Once Second Have To Talk To Myself Dragon shirt in other words I will buy this stigma against indians. It’s not right and never will be right. There are good and bad to every country, unfortunately most media only show the worst of the worst. It’s a shame. People who don’t understand or never traveled to these places will continue to judge them or the people from that country until they see it for themselves. They only see the worst parts too. Not the civilized and beautiful cities. Only the worst parts and the worst events that happen there. Which actually happen in western countries too Well, I don’t condone the mistreatment but it’s not completely unfounded either. A large section of Indians really need to take a crash course on civic sense and human decency. But that said, there are still plenty of us here who were raised with good education, values and are fairly well travelled. We’re as normal as anyone else anywhere, but will unfortunately always be judged with the same lens.

Nothing is missing at all. We’re seen as cheap labour that can be exploited and over-worked. Lot of folks in the I’m Not Crazy Maybe Am Crazy Once Second Have To Talk To Myself Dragon shirt in other words I will buy this west are nice to us on the face, but actually see us as inferior. India’s portrayal in the western media only adds to that. The Switzerland trip came as a shock to them and they didn’t know how to react. I suspect many are pissed off with the current recession and cost of living crisis as well. Nobody wants to see Indians do well. After all, we were slaves less than 100 years ago. I liked Nigeria more than I expected to. Yeah it’s a real eye-opener, the most populous country in Africa so there are people EVERYWHERE. Traffic is pure chaos. But people very friendly and they’ll talk your ear off….
