So coming back around, if I were you, I find out what I am worth on the I May Live In Maine But On Game Day My Heart & Soul Belong To Arizona Wildcats shirt but in fact I love this open market, go to your boss and give him “right of first refusal.” This happens pretty often. That dude was hired after/during a huge labor shortage, the company has to hire at a market price wage. It’s in their best interest that you don’t find out, since it’s a bargain for them. You can ask for a raise, if that doesn’t work you can try again but using another job offer as leverage or just quit and find another job (although you love your job). Yes it’s unfair but every business is trying to keeps profits as high as possible to it’s reasonable from a business perspective. There are companies out there that will adjust wages with inflation and what not but that’s rare to come by

The problem is that you’ve been at the I May Live In Maine But On Game Day My Heart & Soul Belong To Arizona Wildcats shirt but in fact I love this same company since 2012 despite the fact that it seems like they barely gives raises or promotions. You need to change jobs if you want a significant pay increase, unless your company does a good job at retaining talent and promoting. yeah just leave. uhhh no seriously lol. check the market rate for how much full time general it is (103k average where i live per year, 3 FUCKING TIMES your current salary wtf???), and then lie to your next employer saying you made around that AND more bc of your 8 years of experience. actually no, better yet heres what you do. present the facts of what a normal salary rate is and if they dont at the minimum match that, walk the fuck out I agree with the advice to find another job, but if you want to make a point, put in for the tech position that pays more.
