And yeah meditation is the Halloween Michael Myers Never Give Up 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this whole thing. It’s like saying “oh I was only getting changed and warming up, not really weight training”. Being distracted is part of it, thoughts and dullness are part of it. It’s the whole thing. It sounds in general you’re in a very good place with a lot of awareness of your own process which is a really good place to start from. You can’t “hold the meditative state” because that’s grasping, and grasping fucks it all up. “It’s like grabbing butterflies. You’ll squish ’em.” If you keep practicing the butterfly may linger longer. Or not. It is what it is, and your attempt to make it be a certain way is only going to mess it up. You need to be ok with the deviations. “Just keep coming back to the breath. As long as you come back, you stay on track.”

Great response, we desire to reach the Halloween Michael Myers Never Give Up 2023 Shirt Apart from…,I will love this meditative state so much that we prevent ourselves from reaching it. Good thought. I have been meditating or I should say trying to meditate for well over 30 years. It was over the last few years that I really started seeing massive changes. Good question, I really dug in. YouTube, books, podcasts. Had a lot of free time during the pandemic so I put a lot into practice. Started loving meditation and what it was doing for me mentally which made me dive in even more. My first experience with bliss really locked me in. I tried for a long time with little to no results. It took going on a week long shamatha meditation retreat for my first real breakthrough. That breakthrough was simply being able to rest in the open space of my mind with no thoughts and recognizing my thoughts were not fully who I am. That there was a relaxed, open lucidity below those thoughts. Seems simple now, but at the time it was earth shattering.
