If you go by the Funny servamp shirt But I will love this route regularly you try can marking those areas by marker in Google maps to get familiar for some time, only downside to this is your custom markers will show up only in map mode not in navigation mode elementary school clocks where you can demonstrate the time for this very reason. I also start the lesson by reminding them which hand is which, in the least condescending tone I can because our district only has digital clocks so they really don’t know. Oh god, that’s up there for most faceplam inducing thing I’ve heard all week… I teach elementary and I thankfully haven’t had anything like that occur yet. Though to be fair, it’s ESL, so it could happen any day now. I just read about a school taking down all the clocks from the walls, because students don’t know how to tell time with analog clocks.

I’m having a mental breakdown. Isn’t learning how to read analog clocks a basic thing they teach you in school? Not anymore, no. I have quite a few friends with elementary and middle schoolers who have never been taught. They’re teaching so hard to the Funny servamp shirt But I will love this tests anymore that stuff like that has been completely thrown out The longer hand is needed to be accurate down to the minute. The shorter hand can just point vaguely in between the numbers and we know what it means. Used to work in a highschool and would watch over exams all the time. There was an analog clock on the wall but students would still ask me often what the time was. Took me a while to realise that a lot of those kids were simply never taught to read a clock and since they rarely needed to it wasn’t much of an issue for them. Still seems like spending five minutes explaining that to a kid would be worth it.
