I have two kids, and I just make sure I have healthy snack options at home, and make them Meals that I know that they’ll eat. If they don’t finish it, that’s fine. . They’re not gonna starve themselves. As long as they’re not replacing actual meals with garbage snacks, then I don’t see an issue. Omg. my mom would refuse to let me leave the Funny Basketball Player Uncle Breaker Pun T-Shirt What’s more,I will buy this house without eating despite my insistance it just made me sick and I would eat when I got to school… spent years forcing down breakfast and throwing it up before I brushed my teeth. I don’t know why we insist things must happen at certain times, kids are people. Also, I kind of avoid this problem by making meals that I know everybody will eat. If I wanna make some thing that I know they’re not gonna like, then that’s on me. Also, I have the two bite rule. If I present them with something new, they have to try at least two bites before they tell me they don’t like it. Because a lot of times after that first bite, they’ll make a face and say they don’t, even if they secretly do. And because of that, my kids, have always liked things that kids normally don’t. For example, sushi. (And I’m not talking a California roll. I’m talking sashimi, sushi, the raw stuff) They are 13 and 16 now, so they have pretty much tried everything and they pretty much eat anything….which makes my life easier.
