You can’t just decide to take less break and expect to be paid for it. The amendment is probably a clerical adjustment to make sure the Funny #22 Grand slam rafael nadal signature shirt What’s more,I will buy this time card represents accurately what you’re supposed to be working/breaks. Not saying this is the correct course of action from your manager but it’s also on you to ensure that you’re having the correct amount of breaks and thus your responsibility that your time card represents this fact. I’d suggest you take your full breaks in future. As an ex trade union shop steward I can tell you I have had this very same conversation many, MANY times with various staff members about unpaid breaks. If you’re not being paid then you should NOT be working. This is the most likely scenario, manager found they had an extra 10 hours unauthorised overtime this month. Way back in the Funny #22 Grand slam rafael nadal signature shirt What’s more,I will buy this day as a very young McDonalds mgr this used to be standard practice. Go through the time card file and make sure everyone had their full (unpaid break) and was clocked out on time or you’d get a bollocking for spending money on overtime…..To be fair on the firm they started checking this on audit and you’d get pulled up instead if there were manual adjustments on the timesheet that hadn’t been signed off by the staff member. It became a thing that if you had a load of adjustments or overtime it meant you weren’t running your shift properly. If that mgr does it again then ask/tell them not to adjust your time card without speaking to you first – if that doesn’t solve it talk to their boss.
