Why do 80% of the Funny 60 years 1962 2022 Tom Cruise the man the myth the legend thanks for the memories signature shirt Besides,I will do this streets frickin smell like garbage?! I’ve been living here for 2.5 yrs now and this stuff gets on my nerve every damn time I go out. Also the people that take away the garbage. I segregate my garbage correctly still they won’t take it and even refuse to take the garbage to my face by giving the same excuse just cause i won’t pay them extra every week. A corrupt city council is the main reason for most of Bangalore’s woes. The local gov is screwed on so many levels. There’s BBMP, BDA, BMRDA and probably more. If they were all under one org, it would be easier to hold the people in the orgs accountable. In my area (HSR), they collect garbage only if we segregate. My neighbours were fined once for not segregating. But, if we pay them (I give like 200 per month – 100 for dry waste guy and 100 for wet waste guy), they will pick up the dustbin from your house, so you don’t have to be available whenever they come.

It’s not about population but corrupt officials who keep on getting into power. There are lot many Indian cities with population more dense than Bangalore but have a better functioning city, with proper infra and enough brains to know that the city should have different zones of residential and commercial properties so that the traffic flow is manageable. While here they allow offices to be build anywhere they want leading to caps that is Bangalore traffic. The traffic flow is in all direction. Probably more to do with the locality that you are staying in . This isn’t much of an issue in CBD and in some places like HSR layout societies get fined for not segregating their trash Bbmp doesn’t care. There is no cleaning in many streets here. Only old areas of Bangalore are maintained well atleast to some extent.
