Remember to grant you and your partner some grace during this process, these are new roles, and both of you are still learning. The best advice – the Florida Panthers 2023 Stanley Cup Playoff Participant Crease Shirt Also,I will get this one that we still are working on – is to try to constantly out serve each other. When you both strive to serve each other, how can I help, what do you need today, let me get that for you, that kind of thing… and both do it for each other constantly I think that’s when things get really good. I was going to say the same thing! I’m 32 weeks pregnant with our first and this week it’s dawned on me how often my husband does little things to make my life easier – even before we were pregnant. He does even bigger things now that I’m not able to do as much as I used to. It’s made me highly aware of how selfish I can be, even subconsciously. Going into parenthood, one of my goals is to serve him as much as he serves me. He’s the type to reciprocate, so I can only imagine this will highly benefit our marriage as a whole. Of course it’s going to be difficult and we’re going to find new challenges and issues to work through, but at least I know for sure that we’re FOR each other, and always trying to work together.

When both parents are putting their all it’s easier on the Florida Panthers 2023 Stanley Cup Playoff Participant Crease Shirt Also,I will get this relationship. When one person becomes a lazy parent that’s when issues happen. Have talks, be honest, and ask for help. Before my husband and I married we both read the 7 Principals of Making a Marriage work and found it really beneficial. It mainly comes down to communication, and the book focuses on how to strengthen it or move past obstacles that get in the way of healthy communication. We make a point to check in with each other but also to let things slide sometimes when we know the other is feeling overwhelmed or sleep deprived (which definitely happens with a newborn). It helps prevent resentment with each other because we’re able to communicate what we’re needing. This is tough and I’m sorry you’re going through it. There’s not one big thing but maybe just small things. My wife and I made small efforts. When our son was old enough to sleep most of the night and we started to feel like humans again, we would play a 2player board game after bedtime. We really liked patchwork fyi. But it forced us to sit across from each other, no phone, no TV and just be. We didn’t always talk, whether it be big or small things. Just played the game and shot the shit.
