This weekend baby! My LA relatives are coming to visit and we’ll be holding my first crawfish boil at my newish house. Can’t wait! I had crayfish as pets. Sadly, I realized to late that they will eat everything, including any other fish, despite having plenty of food available to them. Only a Plecostomus would make for a tank mate. The best part about catching it nearby is that I was able to release it back into the lake when it was time for me to move. Those bright blue ones are beautiful! I settled on blue shrimps instead, but someday I’ll get a tank big enough for a crayfish 🙂 A very disgusting friend of mine wanted to get a tattoo of a crawfish on his butt, “coming out of his mud hole”. Hilarious and revolting. Oh Eric, I miss you.
