it won’t matter what the Dr. Jones’ Archaeology T-Shirt and I will buy this warrant is for. child support, traffic tickets, capital murder. we strip search them all. i was a deputy for 20 years and 12 of that was in Booking/IPC. Anyone that comes into the jail gets strip searched. Only people with warrants that aren’t getting search are those that can do non-arrest bonds because they’re not actually getting booked in. Just fingerprinted and having their mug shot taken because they’re posting bond on their warrant. The cause for the warrant will only have an affect on how much bail is set for, not whether sue actually goes to jail. Bail would be set much lower for something like a non-violent misdemeanor, as opposed to a violent felony where bail would be set much higher. That was my point about what the warrant was for.

it’s ok. everything gets lost in translation on reddit. you make great points so i kinda knew that you had a good understanding of what you were talking about. i just wanted to clear up not necessarily for you but for anyone that read it and thought maybe there was a chance they didn’t have to be strip searched. Just know that they aren’t judging your body and they see so many bodies of all types of conditions that you will not stand out to them. Also that like it depends upon your charges and your city/county as to whether they will strip search you at all. I second this. I actually have been to both prison and police station lockup, and have been strip searched a few times. They don’t give a shit about your body. It’s just a boring job to them. Be polite and do exactly what they say when they say to do it and they will treat you with dignity.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
