They say welcome, bye, thank you to everyone but whenever I’m getting off, they just don’t say anything. I’m also mentally prepared to say it but nope. Although once I was wearing a cool jacket and they did say it. I don’t if it was the Disney Vallains Tis The Season halloween shirt also I will do this clothes but that’s how world is, they definitely judge by clothes. If a pale skin passenger asked for something or tapped the red button, the staff were there in seconds vs. overlooking the other. Ground staff too had this behaviour at Mumbai, Delhi and other airports. But then, many airline staff do have to put up with people behaving in a manner that does tend to stand out in the airports and on the flights. Just look up any Brummie to India flight to know the experience the cabin crew has to put up with – from lewd comments to getting drunk and demanding favors, etc.

I flew to KL on the Disney Vallains Tis The Season halloween shirt also I will do this Malaysian national airline and saw firsthand a group from a Western state behave onboard – zero courtesy to other passengers, removing all the carry-on luggage and running towards the exit before the aircraft had come to a stop, etc. It’s like they wanted to compete with the Chinese flyers who are not the best behaved at times… the tourists in particular. IMO, I’d just pay extra for a seat that’s a bit away from the bunch and have a thick skin about being treated differently. BA, French, Cathay and at times, Lufthansa are known to be snobbish towards our passports. Goes with the territory sadly. Name and shame them on Twitter. We’ll retweet and comment there, just share the link here. This is unacceptable. How are you dressed and how you look also impacts behavior of the staff . Not an ideal world, but that’s how it is
