Get the Disney Hannah Montana Logo T Shirt T Shirt Also,I will get this title bump, put it on your resume and apply to others jobs. Use these competitive offers to bring to your employer and demand for increased pay. If they don’t give it, leave. That’s the bare minimum answer. It’s way too much effort though. You should just be paid your new rate for your new role day 1 like any other job I’d be going for a compromise. Get the title at least if you’re going to be doing the role you should have the title. Get the salary adjustment in writing and make sure there are clear targets so there’s no ambiguity down the line. If possible I wouldn’t take it without the title and pay upfront or an established timeline in writing. I had a very similar situation where I got the title but not the pay. I did the job “exceeding expectations” for over two years, with every conversation about the pay getting kicked down the road. It took me putting in my two weeks for them to even start the conversation. The increase ended up being less than discussed and I left.

Do not take any “promise” without a written timeline and clear expectations of what they’re expecting from you. No extra work or responsibilities without the Disney Hannah Montana Logo T Shirt T Shirt Also,I will get this official title change. Tell them you want the title change now as you are taking on the responsibilities. Usually a company will change your position to “interim” with a “temporary” bump on pay to try you out in the role. It’s in writing with HR. Having a verbal offer is not a guarantee and seems shady. That is what I was given when my former boss left, after 90 days they offered me the role permanently. Don’t accept verbal because people can change their tune down the road. Agree on a time frame, say no more than 6 weeks. Then they either make it official, or you go back to your previous role with no additional management responsibilities.
