Edit: What really gets me is they won’t even give you the Disney Hannah Montana Logo Shirt Also,I will get this title, which doesn’t cost them anything. They kind of sound like shitters. Use the “title” as leverage and start looking around. The more time they can have you doing manager tasks but paying you less the better for them I would let them know you will accept the role if “comfortable” becomes a set if clearly defined goals. In writing I would take it. If they fuck you over, you can start looking for a new job of the same rank and higher expected pay later on, but this is an opportunity to get higher leadership experience. I would take it and run with it. Give them a timeline…no wiggle room. Dress it up but something to the extent that you’ll give them x months…the end of which will be the promised promotion and raise or you return to your current position. Make sure you drive that time frame home and if you agree, remind them of it throughout the trial period. I did some similar and it actually worked out pretty well for me at the time…was almost 20yrs ago but I almost doubled my salary. I can pretty much guarantee you will never get that pay raise unless you demand it now. Why would you assume extra duties for the same pay? COVER YOUR ASS. Get that shit in writing and make those fuckers sign and date it to ensure they acknowledge it.

Step 1 accept the Disney Hannah Montana Logo Shirt Also,I will get this responsibility and role, immediately add this to your resume, if you don’t accept, odds are they hire someone outside and decide you’re not a team player and just never promote you Step 3 after 6 months go job hunting, because if they didn’t give you the pay raise, you’ve been doing the job for 6 months and now solidly know what you’re doing if they did give you the raise I guarantee you it’s not the right pay. Most companies will low ball you especially if you’ve never held that title/level before Step 4, once you have an offer you have 2 choices and it depends on whether or not you want to stay at this company. First you can present the offer and ask them what they plan to do about it. The risk is they say “see ya and good luck”. Or you can do nothing and just use it for information. Now we split steps based on what they do. Step 5a they know about the offer and decide to do nothing, that’s your answer. Gtfo 5b they know about the offer and price match it. Your call but I would gtfo, price matching means they were lowballing you and are damn adamant about paying you the minimum they can get away with 5c they offer more than the other company. I’d still gtfo because why wasn’t I being paid this the whole time but I understand comfort and what not.
