I’m going to go against the Death Metal Sing Along Halloween Shirt it is in the first place but grain here and recommend you take it, if it truly is your only option at the moment. Sitting on the sidelines instead of building career XP seems like a bad choice even if it means you’re temporarily working in a suboptimal environment. when i joined amazon, i had to solo design and develop one of the first native features on the amazon ios app, it launched, made amazon $50M in profit, and then i got laid off a year later Ouch. I’m sorry to hear that. At least you can put that $50M metric on your resume – having that on there must probably looks very kick-ass. I would totally do it if it was low code development like Microsoft Power Platform or OutSystems. Its a super easy low code environment where nothing can go wrong. Its like adding blocks together like lego. It’s rapid development so you’re building it live together with the customer.

If it was some super complex C#/Java design patterns microsystems Azure monster I would be a little worried as a new grad (and then still do it because yolo! ) Basically describes my first dev job. There were two guys writing algorithms when I arrived but there was no technical direction nor anyone else to actually design and build the Death Metal Sing Along Halloween Shirt it is in the first place but product. Had to reimagine and build a replacement for a legacy mobile app, web dashboard and manage the backend for an acceptance test without so much runway. I wouldn’t recommend it but it worked out well for me personally. I really liked being able to start with a clean slate and it was useful to build the confidence in being a full stack dev very early in my career. I like exploring the UX and product sides of things and felt this gave me a lot of freedom. I stayed at that company for 2.5 years and saw the product through all stages of development. Really does depend how much the other guy is going to support you, if its just that youre on a greenfield project, thats fine. It could just be that they have a Dev, they have a new project, he is happy to advise but litterally cant handle two things at once.

1. Length is measured from the highest point on the collar down to the bottom hem. 2. Width is measured across the body of the shirt under the armpits, one way. 3. Sleeves are measured from center back to hem.
