I am 100% with this. Teachers have their favorite students and students they don’t like. It’s very common that If a student they don’t like is getting bullied, they turn their heads the Chris Paul American professional basketball player for the Golden State T-Shirt and by the same token and other way. When I was in middle school. My tech ed class was off campus about a mile away launching our CO2 rockets. I fell on the ice and landed wrong on my ankle. The teacher flat out told me I was faking being hurt for attention in front of the whole class and made me walk back to the school. He left me behind when I couldn’t keep up with them. My friend helped me get back. I went straight to the nurse who took 1 look at my ankle and called my Dad and had him take me to the ER. Come to find out I had a hairline fracture. When i went back to school, a kid kicked my crutch out from underneath me and i fell landing on that same ankle. In a fit of rage, i swung my crutch at him. I missed him.

I had to have surgery to repair the Chris Paul American professional basketball player for the Golden State T-Shirt and by the same token and damage to my ankle. Somehow the 2 teachers in the hallway completely missed him kicking out my crutch but saw me swing at him. I got suspended for 3 days for trying to hit someone with a weapon. Nothing happened to the teacher who made me walk back or the kid. I taught my kids a simple rule. Stand up for what’s right. Don’t pick a fight, but if someone puts their hands on you. End that fight. If someone is getting physically bullied and can’t defend themselves. End that fight. I told them if they get suspended for it, its a 3 day vacation for them I’m so sorry this is your experience. It breaks my heart these teachers labeled you and didn’t do their diligence to help protect you. My niece and one of my nephews had a similar experience. And in the case of my niece she was stigmatized for most of her time in school.
