I understand how things can get out of hand. Big school yard supervisors turn a blind eye to a lot of things that happen on the Chris Boucher Canadian-Saint Lucian professional Toronto Raptors T-Shirt in addition I really love this school yard. And they are often too busy gossiping to pay attention to the children. My son’s friend was constantly being bullied by another kid. And every time they went to a supervisor they wouldn’t see it and just say, “Next time he will be taken to the principal “. Well after about 6 times of this, my son defended his friend. The bully had my son’s friend pinned down to the ground. He ripped his winter coat and he beat him up. My son had enough of the supervisors never seeing anything. So he grabbed the bully by the scruff of his jacket and flung him away from his friend. Had he been caught doing that, he would of been suspended or had detention.

My heart kinda stopped when he told me. So I asked…. “Did the Chris Boucher Canadian-Saint Lucian professional Toronto Raptors T-Shirt in addition I really love this supervisors see you”? I thought I was going to get a phone call…. But he said no, they didn’t. They weren’t paying attention. Very much this. What makes it worse is that we tell kids constantly that they basically shouldn’t do anything other than tell a teacher. We are then shocked when they grow up and freeze when something happens and people don’t end up helping when something bad is happening. You can’t teach someone something basically their entire life and then expect that to suddenly change. It is the same as the whole, don’t talk to strangers. Instead of trying to teach kids things like it being ok to talk to people but not go with them, we just tell them, don’t even talk to them. We are then shocked when they don’t know how to interact with people fully, especially those outside of their age group. A lot of what we are taught as kids sticks with us. We try to protect kids so much, and yet in many ways it can cause more harm than good. It’s not an unfounded fear, but it is an exaggerated one in many ways. We are far too scared to let kids do things on their own or make choices. We try so hard to stop them from ever getting hurt, making messes, and so on, that we in many ways reduce potentially valuable experiences.
