I’m 6’, and 250lbs. I squat 315, bench 225 and my 5k time is about 28 minutes. I go to an ND that pulls about six pages of blood work every six months. Everything from cholesterol to PSA. I asked why, they told me all of the problems that I must have because I’m technically obese. I explained all of the things I know to be true from my bi-annual testing and the response was that the ND was lying to me. My blood tests come from the same lab the GL uses and the nurse had checked my blood pressure as normal not 20 minutes before. I hate to be that guy (downvotes incoming, I know) but those are small numbers for a 250lbs man at 6ft. A lean, very well trained man (not a freak of nature) can hit those lifts at 165lbs. Not to mention very easily at 200. Your argument here means nothing.

I’ve told my doctor a million times that I train for marathons with the Blake Shelton 22nd anniversary 2001 2023 thank you for the memories signature shirt besides I will buy this hope it will help him understand my labs better. Nope. Last time my sodium was low. He told me to drink less water. So I did the right thing and increased my electrolytes. I also do heavy weight training along with lots of cardio so I have had historically high creatinine levels. He keeps thinking I have kidney disease, I have had a battery of tests and everything comes back perfect. Hinting does not work with doctors. They need to be told things as clearly as possible, preferably with visual accompaniment like diagrams or puppets. When I requested to go back on antidepressants (after being on and off them for a decade) my doctor asked if there was any situational reason I would be depressed. I reminded him the my dad, also one of his patients, was diagnosed the previous month with 2 different cancers and only had a 25% chance of living through the next 5 years. I had a doctor who knew I had bipolar 1 and asked me, “So why are you depressed?” I was like, “Uh..I have bipolar, it makes you depressed and manic” Not me, but a cis male friend of mine has ALLLLL the medical problems. A couple weeks ago he went in to get one of them checked out, and was told “this looks like something that only happens in AFAB people, but you’re AMAB so it can’t be that.” And then they just… Didn’t investigate any more. Because anomalies in medical science are completely ignorable and don’t mean anything, ig I had some male OB/ GYN tell me I had a yeast infection from not bathing enough. Older foreign guy. Needless to say, I’ve never seen a male OB/ GYN ever again.
