2- I had to take my (then 22y/o, now almost 24) best friend to the Chucky Pittsburgh Steelers My Heart Halloween 2023 Shirt and I will buy this ER while she was screaming and crying on the ground because of lots of pain— pretty much everywhere) eventually diagnosed with RA and several herniated discs), and she told me doc said “you’re really young to be in all this pain” LIKE NO SHIT THATS THE PROBLEM “If you had a pulmonary embolism you would be in a lot more pain” I am in a lot of pain and can’t take a deep breath or lay on my back. is sent to the ER days later with multiple PEs and DVT “Wow you were just so stoic I just thought you had a cough” This was more of a brain fart on the part of a nurse. My daughter lost an eye to cancer. The nurse was asking questions and we mentioned she had a prosthetic eye. The nurse said, “does she have any sight in that eye?” Um no, there isn’t an eye. After a bad cyst rupture I was given a new OBGYN that was a naturopath from the church. I was super excited because I REALLY didn’t want to be on birth control and was desperate for any other option. She pretty much told me that my only option other than BC was “suffering”… Considering MORPHINE didn’t help enough with the pain during my rupture I reluctantly got on the birth control as I never ever want to experience that misery again. She then was whining the whole time she wrote the prescription about how I was being a baby and that going to the ER 1-2 times a year isn’t so bad and that worst case my ovary would be destroyed and that I’d have trouble having kids because of it…

3 months later I came back cause I ended up bleeding for the Chucky Pittsburgh Steelers My Heart Halloween 2023 Shirt and I will buy this whole 3 months straight and could barely move cause of the constant nausea only to be told “you could have just suffered”. Turns out despite my ridiculously high natural estrogen levels she still thought it was a good idea to put me on a combo pill… NGL part of me wonders if it was on purpose but I try not to think that way. Switched back to my old OBGYN after begging the medical director and after a good talk with my old OBGYN we eventually settled on a progesterone only pill that so far has relieved me of sooo much pain and misery. I’m so thankful it worked out for me in the end but it hurts me to know that it probably doesn’t for a lot of people in similar situations…
