I currently do this really weird thing: I use the Barbenheimer 2023 explosion butterflies T-Shirt But I will love this Reddit website in a browser, even on my phone. The way websites are designed to be used. Companies who want more access to the valuable info in your phones have brainwashed so many of you into thinking you need lots of apps installed. You don’t. Losing third-party apps would mean losing access to Reddit on mobile. I would rather stop using the site entirely than install the official app or use the shitty Facebook-style desktop redesign. The official app is one of the worst I’ve ever seen. And if they then decide to enfore that awful new Reddit on desktop, I’ll just quit Reddit completely. Seriously, the people behind Reddit have to be the most clueless bunch of idiots there are. Why would you actively do everything you can to drive off a lot of users? I really like the option to ban specific subreddits from my feed that RIF offers. I don’t want to see rage bait topics Maybe I’m redditting wrong, but I never use the website and don’t have any issues with the app. It’s all I use. But to be honest I’ve never tried a 3rd party Reddit app so I really don’t know if im actually missing out on anything

You guys use apps with Reddit? Do you also use the Barbenheimer 2023 explosion butterflies T-Shirt But I will love this Reddit app? Damn place is just layers upon layers of forums. Webpage works well enough for that. it seems greed is the cancer of everything. Reddit will die like other giants, and we will move on to other places, it is the circle of life on the internet. They don’t have to do this. They are forcing out third party apps because they want to have full control of the users. 3rd party apps give us freedom. I never liked any of the third party apps. Apollo, reddit is fun, none of that works for me. I guess I just prefer the regular Reddit mobile app. Nothing. I won’t leave because last thing I need is another diaspora and nobody ever uses FOSS social media so I’d end up screaming into the void. Also I use the official app anyway 222 more repliesI already only use the reddit app and I fucking hate it. I just can’t be assed to go find a better app even though I browse while I poop and before bed. Idk how they can fuck this app up this badly and screw over outside companies trying to make a better one. If there are multiple images in a post, good luck viewing them. If there is a cool post that makes you want to check in on the parent subreddit, good luck the profile or sub you clicked on will show a random ass advert name from 20 posts ago… shit sucks but it honestly won’t affect me too much, if at all
