Im in similar position where I was asked to move into a role I had prior but with more responsibility going from a Senior Manager to a Associate Director. Luckily my current manager has my back and told them unless you give him an actual offer I am content to stay where I’m at. I was told today the Arizona Call It Home No Matter Where Roam Flag shirt Apart from…,I will love this req was approved and now awaiting offer next week. Also a little back story I have been with this company for 7 yrs originally and had carrot dangled to “grow into roles” to have someone else get them. I quit on good terms and came back a few months later in another department and continued my career path but if I had not left I would not be where I’m currently at 25 yrs later with same company. I was chasing that carrot for 8 months without a pay raise before I finally got it. I had to threaten go leave before I got it. Happy now, but it was bullshit getting here.
