True IQ tests look at a participant’s ability to problem solve. It fails to take into account multiple intelligences, the Allen And Curry Oakland Forever Signatures shirt Apart from…,I will love this theory that intelligence can be broken into several categories. For example, there is musical intelligence, language intelligence, spatial, mathematic, etc. An individual with high language intelligence may not perform the best on an IQ test but I bet there are plenty of ordinary work tasks they can do better than a mathematician who scored higher in an IQ test. It’s funny because they think they would pass it. Yet the percentage of the population that does actually have a higher IQ than 115 is very low. Way lower than 55%. And it’s actually the intelligent people who probably answered “No”

It really isn’t. It’s just one standard deviation from the Allen And Curry Oakland Forever Signatures shirt Apart from…,I will love this mean, so about 16% of the population has an IQ higher than 115 iq is known to be flawed and not a perfect measure of intelligence. On the same token, there’s not a single metric that’s been invented that better reflects intelligence and professional success than iq. Until you come up with a better metric, companies that have far more people applying than they have spots for are absolutely justified in using iq tests to narrow the field. IQ tests don’t mean shit. I took the full Stanford-Binet battery in 6th grade. I will not tell you what I scored because you wouldn’t believe me and I don’t want to argue. What I will tell you is that it was a high score. And I’m an idiot. I think it 100% is dependent on the field but I think removing applications below a 115 is a bad idea in the vast majority of cases. Feels like a rather arbitrary reasoning especially when many IQ tests have some guessing and variance involved. As long as it’s not the only option then I don’t see why not try and use other things but you should definitely try and do more testing to see if it’s an effective strategy
